Geocache Description:

Frost Fish Trio #3 is a regular sized lock & lock containing a log a few trinkets and a ftf gift. It also contains hand sanitizer and bug spray in case you tried to tough it out and now need some relief from the bugs.Beware the PI.Frost Fish Trio #1 If you continue on just past gz there is a trail to the left that will take you back to the beginning along a higher, less damp, bumpy path.

Frost Fish Trio #3
Frost Fish Creek Trail

0.75 mi. trail along bluff overlooking cranberry bog. Trail loops back adjacent to bog with a 0.25 mile spur along Frost Fish Creek to Route 28.
This trail is approximately 0.9 miles (17 minute walk) from the nearest public transportation route stop.

Trail information is available at the Mayo House, 540 Main Street, Chatham, or 104 Crowell Road. These lands are owned by the Chatham Conservation Foundation Inc., a local land trust.

More information about this trail can be found at: (visit link)
(visit link)

This large 83.7 acre area that follows Frost Fish Creek from Rt. 28 SW to Meadowbrook Rd. consists of 8 parcels which were acquired from 1967 -1999. Almost half the area was gifted, the rest purchased by the Foundation. The trail meanders along the creek and back into some forested upland.

Parking is available at N 41*42.106 W 069*58.210 The parking area is accessed through a narrow dirt road along RT. 28 located between Frost Fish Hill Rd. and the culvert that allows the creek to cross 28. The way in is narrow but it opens up to a parking area that can handle about 5 cars...more if they are parked carefully.

I would not drive low clearance cars or cars that you wouldnt want to possibly scratch (lexus, bmw, miata) into the parking area but if you don't mind a few light scratches or the primary colors of your ride are rusty red or primer grey go for it :-)
