Burma Road Huckleberry Patch Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

No one seems to know why they call the road between Mahanoy City and St. Clair the Burma Road. Some say the folks who built it were from the Burma campaign in the second world war. Some say it just is a random name. Regardless this road is a long desolate path. It's a road you don't want to break down in. Along the road is very little. There is some good hunting grounds, and some great places to pick huckleberries. (wild blueberries)

There is also a gun range about a mile from St. Clair.

This cache is hidden in one of my favorite locations for hiking, picking huckleberries, and for hunting.

There is room on the side of the road to pull over safely. There is also a parking lot area about 1/8th of a mile from the cache. This would be a great Cache and Dash.
Please replace cache as best as you can as you found it. Sign the logbook with the pencil and happy hunting.
