This cache has been put here with permission. Parking can be an issue so please park well clear of the cache. If the siren goes please stand well back as people are likely to be coming from all directions.
In New Zealand there is two principal Fire responders. The New Zealand Fire Service which is there principally for Urban fires but also covers everything from cats up trees to Car Crashes. Then there is the National Rural Fire Authority which principally structured and resourced for Rural fire coverage.
The brightwater Volunteer Rural Fire Force is principaly there for Rural type Fires but also provides first response capabilities to all types of emergencies within the district.
