Located near the shore of Tawas Bay. Not too difficult, however the last few feet involves walking on large rocks.
The cache, an ammo size box contains a logbook which tells a little history about my family and the Tawas Point Lighthouse which can be seen across the bay. It also contains a replica of the lighthouse. In addition, since I am a fire chief, it contains a couple of things for other firefighters or fire buffs.
