This cache is a Serendipity Cache.A Serendipity is when you start out looking for one thing and you find another thing that you did not expect to find.The Serendipity of this cache is meeting a really Kool couple and family from B.C doingitoldschool, and in the short time that it takes to get to know them and doing a bit of caching with them it would be our pleasure to say we now have some NEW B.C. Caching friends. The idea that came from an email looking to meet some Saskatoon Cachers is the result of how friendships are born.Most of us do not realize the potential network of friends we have around the world with Geocaching and the opportunity to make new friends wherever we go.
L of doingitoldschool grew up less than a block from where this cache is located and went to school at WP Bate School from K-to 8 here. This cache is a Tribute to our New Found B.C. friends.
Go to find this cache and see what's happened to WP Bate School. It is another of Saskatoon's hidden Gems.
****** Have replaced cache and best time to find is in the EVENING and use a flashlight. Easy Find NOW BUT YOU ARE IN WIDE OPEN TERRITORY. ***PRACTICE CITO--IF you get what I mean. You should be able to park 20 metres or so away from cache--make the find and take back to cachemobile to SL so you are not watched the whole time. Good Luck and Cache On--Hope this one sticks around
