Located on an Island in Beaver Lake. Our Scout Troop placed this cache while on a 4+ mile canoe trip. Cache is in traditional ammo can fashion.
Start at #1! This cache is halfway or more to the top of the island. No trails are available and the terrain is steep. Some climbing may be required. Look hard..... It's hidden well. This cache includes many scout patches, a scout coin, a geocoin a scout bandana and many other neat items. Be Careful!
Scout spirit applies to how a Scout lives and conducts his daily life. He shows Scout spirit by being a role model to
his peers, living by the Scout Oath and Law. The concept of
Scout spirit is not based on how many Scouting events or
outings a Scout attends, but rather by how he helps bring
out the best in others as a reflection of his own character and attitude in his daily life.
Scout spirit is the essence of scouting. Earning rank advancements and merit badges are important, but scout spirit goes way beyond that. "Scout Spirit" embodies the essence of what a true scout is made of.
Enjoy this hike.. Be mindful of nature! Scouter's like Cacher's "Leave no trace", so cache in and carry out!
