My Neck of the Woods Traditional Cache

This is a short hike through an interesting, open grassy area surrounded by hardwood forest. The woods across the road to the south is one of the few remaining stands of virgin timber around the lake. Long ago, most of the land down this road was part of our family's farm, and you'll pass what little bit is left while driving down here. I practically grew up in these woods, and I still hike and hunt around here often.
Make sure to approach from the south and stay off the private property to the east. I've added a waypoint for the top of a scenic hill on your way to the cache.
