This is the first in what will be a series of rather self indulgent set of caches all near things i have had a hand in building! Not tricky to find just off the footpath...
I'm a civil engineer although if you listen to my father "not very blooming civil"....and i build things.
Hedon Road was my first job straight out of univeristy and it was were i cut my teeth in the civil engineering industry....oh and met The Husband!
The Techy Bit
Hedon Road was a £32 million project through the east of Hull, 6km of single carriageway road made into dual carriage way, 2 large bridges one at the east end of the job at Saltend and the other at the west end Mount Pleasent...half a dozen roundabouts and a de-trunking of the old Hedon Road...new footpath and cycle way all the way from one end to the other....
And what did i do???? Well were you find the cache the roundabout to your left (if your facing the River Humber) is Northern Gateway and i built that, the bridge your stood on, i built that, the 2 laybys to your right....yep me too....like i said very self indulgent but im very proud about my bit of road!
Cache is a small plastic tub containing
