Geocache Description:

The largest river system on Vancouver Island culminates with the flowing of the Nimpkish River into Broughton Strait. Cutthroat Trout are resident year-round, with summer steelhead from June to September and winter steelhead from January to April. Dolly Varden fishing is good in the spring, with good fall runs of chinook and coho salmon. Before fishing the river, check the regulations first. Crabbing at the mouth of the river is generally pretty good, need a boat though. From June 15th to September 15th you are only permitted to take two crabs per person. The rest of the year you can take four crabs each. Use your good geo senses, we know you all have them. Your GPS will bounce LOTS because you will be in the thick forest, so don't rely totally on your gps. You are looking for a silver bison tube. Maintenance performed and replaced cache.
