Geocache Description:

DO NOT GO TO THE POSTED COORDINATES.
The cache IS within a mile of the posted coordinates.
Just solve the puzzle below to determine the actual coordinates.

First things first . . . why another puzzle? Well . . . while working on a different puzzle in the area from a certain evil Dr. (guess WHO?), I came across some very interesting information checking out possible coordinates using Google Earth. I’ll get to that in a second. But fear not, this puzzle is extremely simple to solve . . . unlike said other puzzle. Besides, that same evil Dr. mentioned to me just the other day that he still needed something like 10 puzzles to reach 100 to qualify for the Challenge of the Century for Mystery caches. So see? I’m just trying to help a fella out.

Now you’re probably wondering about the cache title and what I discovered that was so interesting. Simply put: Bigfoot lives in Boonville. It’s true. I kid thee not. Just plug the posted coordinates into Google Earth and you’ll see a little icon with a link to a webpage that details an actual Bigfoot sighting by a Warrick County resident at the posted coordinates. Or you can click on the User’s Web Page link above (just below the cache size) to view said webpage. You’ll be glad you did.

(And I hope you appreciate how useful a puzzle cache is in this situation . . . Were I to actually place a cache at the posted coordinates to alert you to Bigfoot’s home (or possibly his favorite swimming hole), I would be putting you in mortal danger. But with a puzzle cache, I’m able to point out said spot, yet hide the actual cache a quite-safe distance away. Everyone wins!)

NOTE: Anyone Geocaching within a 5-mile radius of a Bigfoot-inhabited area does so at their own peril. Finding any Geocache in a wooded area around Boonville is obviously a very risky proposition. Don’t say you weren’t warned. Void where prohibited. Results may vary.

If, while searching for this cache, you should happen to see Bigfoot, please post all details of any such sightings in your log. If you do not happen to see Bigfoot but do see any other weird, odd, or overly-hairy creatures, please feel free to make note of any such sightings, as well. I’m hoping that this cache page will become a resource for all Bigfoot-related information in the greater Boonville metropolitan area.

The actual cache coordinates can be determined by answering the questions below:

Average number of daily Bigfoot sightings in Warrick County? 3

The cache itself is a waterproof match holder. Traffic moves quickly in this area, so please be careful when you park and retrieve the cache. Good luck and have fun!
