Potocka zijalka se nahaja na višini 1700 m v pobocju gore Olševe. Jama je dolga 115 m ter široka do 40 m. Približno 20.000 do 40.000 tisoc let nazaj - v kameni dobi, naj bi bilo tu središce tedanjih lovcev. Danes je tu pomembno arheološko in palaentološko najdišce. Izkopavanja so se pod vodstvom Srecka Brodarja (1893-1987) pricela leta 1928 . Tu so bile najdene kosti vec kot 40-tih razlicnih vrst živali (vkljucno s kostmi jamskega medveda), 130 kamnitih konic pušcic, i.t.d....
Najdbe so hranjene v Pokrajinskem muzeju Celje.

Izhodišce: Koca pod Olševo pri Sv. Duhu (Podolševa). Do jame lahko pridete tudi z avstrijske strani.
Cas hoje: 1h vzpon, 45 min sestop.

Zaklad je plasticna škatla. Ker v jami ni signala, za iskanje uporabite namig. V jamo vstopite desno od info table.

Potocka zijalka cave is located at the altitude of 1700 m ASL - inside the slope of the Olševa ridge. The cave is 115 long and about 20-40 m wide. About 20.000-40.000 years ago - in the Stone Age, it was used as hunter's station Nowday it is important archaeological and palaentological place. Excavations began in 1928 and were led by the palaentologist Srecko Brodar (1893-1987). Bones of 40 different species of animal have been inside the cave (including the Cave bear) as well as stone tools, bone arrowheads , e.t.c...
The finds are now in the Regional museum Celje.

Starting point: Mountain house (Koca pod Olševo) at Sv. Duh (Podolševa). The cave can be reached from the Austrian side.
Walking Time: 1 hour ascent, 45 min descent.
