Owhiro Bay is a spot on the South Coast where boaties can launch their boats when the weather permits. The published co-ordinates are not the location of the cache but should place you in the middle of an appropriate car park close to the shore. To enter the carpark you need to approach from the Island Bay direction as access is not permitted from the Happy Valley/ Owhiro Road direction so a carefully executed and safe U turn may be required at an appropriate spot.
Your mission is to locate three signs with lots of information to decode the Gz's coordinates. The cache is within walking distance of the car park. The signs are north of and adjacent to the carpark but watch out for boats attempting to launch on the boat ramp. Please watch for shell gathering and boatie muggles and make sure the cache is left secure and covered in its resting place. The cache is located at South 41 AB.CDE East 174 FG. HJK
