Geocache Description:

ENG: Kommunaar was a big Soviet time footware manufacturer in Tallinn, Estonia. One of the biggest hit they made was wooden shoes. If you didn`t own a pair, you were nothing. But even if you knew somebody in the shoe industry, getting them was not easy. The factory is closed by now, but the big building is still there. This treasure is dedicated to the wooden shoes. During a day, theres a lot of people moving around the hidding place so be careful.

EST: Kommunaari puuking oli Nõukogude Eestis nii popp, et seda lausa pidi kandma. Muidu polnud sa miski tegija! Edukalt kanti ka Kommunaari saapaid. Suur Kommunaari tehas Tallinnas vehkis Nõukogude ajal tubli jalatsivabriku kombel teha nii lakknahast pidukingi kui ka tänavajalatseid.
Puukingade ilmumine ajas moejanused vaat et hulluks. Kõik, kes vähegi said ehk siis teataval määral kingakaubanduses tutvusi omasid, kandsid. Massiliselt ilmusid need välja seitsmekümnendate lõpus. Tänaseks on Kommunaar oma tegevuse lõpetanud. Uus hoone kus tehase ruumid asusid ehitati 1985 aastal. Aare ongi pühendatud kuulsatele puukingadele:). Tööpäeviti on tegemist mugurohke kohaga, nii et tasub ettevaatlik olla. Tagasi pannes vaata, et püsib! :)
