Located on the property of Lima's Woodlawn Cemetery. Looking for a
3x5x4 clear lock and lock in the tree in the center part of the cemetery.
Woodlawn Cemetery is a very large urban cemetery with a topography that is very different from most Northwestern Ohio Cemeteries. It has many meandering drives and large and small gravestones. There is a beautiful lake that often has people fishing at it. This cemetery it treated like a park. People came to walk, fish, and explore. If you go towards that back of the cemetery you can see some of the oldest stones as well.
Permission for the cache location is granted by Rick Wager, superintendent for Woodlawn Cemetery.
The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project by the Northwest Ohio Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This cache is part of that series created by NWOGEO members to highlight cemeteries in the area. Please be respectful of the area, and observe their rules and posted hours which are typically sunrise to sunset.
