How will you get there? There is a park near by where you can walk to & get to within 200 meters of the cache. You can launch the canoe from the park or however. If you choose to walk to it PLEASE ENSURE ICE THICKNESS IS APPROPRIATE BEFORE TRYING TO HIKE OUT TO THE ISLAND IN THE WINTER. PLEASE CALL: HRM Ice conditions line at OR SURF TO: HRM Ice Thickness Reports Remember safety whether you swim, boat or walk to it.
