Geocache Description:

This is an exact replica of the original "Outa Gas" placed by: GR8 EYES with assistance from Lego Lover. I couldn't see this cache disappear. This was the first cache that I (and others) searched for. We were not sucessful until our third visit and even then we had help. Now that we've had some caching practice, I realize that this shouldn't have been too difficult. As always, please replace this cache so that muggles will not spot it.

STEALTH IS REQUIRED, AS THIS IS A BUSY INTERSECTION AND A BUS STOP.

NOTE: 9/27/2009 THIS CACHE SEEMS TO GO MISSING QUITE A BIT. I HAVE NOW DESIGNED A SMALLER CONTAINER THAT CAN BE HIDDEN BETTER THAN CONTAINERS IN THE PAST. PLEASE REPLACE CACHE OUT OF SIGHT!! THANK YOU

THE FOLLOWING IS THE ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION BY: GR8 EYES with assistance from Lego Lover: At one of the most unique Milwaukee Area Landmarks, in West Allis. Interesting building at a bus intersection. With the cost of gasoline what it is, you pretty much know why this station is outa business, and therefore outa gas! Check out this gr8 landmark and take a nostalgic trip back in time while checking out "Frank" and his Seneca service station. Take a rest on the nearby bench and watch the quickly paced day go by. Enjoy your visit to this fun corner, and you won't feel as though you've wasted a moment of your caching time! According to my mom, Blindspot, my Great Grandfather, Frank E. Walsh, was the elected first mayor of West Allis in 1906 (I have found evidence in the Milwaukee County Historical Website to support that claim.)
