The third installment in the Curlew Lake Series, located on Zipfel Island in the middle of Curlew Lake. This cache will require some form of transportation to the island. The cache is a Costco Nuts container, and has an assortment od goodies. The island has two good ports of entry, one on the north side, the other on the south side. It's very flat and is a great spot for a picnic. Many of the trails are caused by the deer that swim to the island. The day we set the cache we saw three deer swimming from the island to Pine Point. Legend also has it that some person is buried on Zipfel Island, if you find the grave site, you have better eyes than I do. Have fun, be safe, and follow all regulations.
