Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is the fourth in a series of seven caches with a bonus cache
if you find them all. All eight caches are placed in Buescher State
Park, with the supervision and approval of Park Specialist Cullen
Sartor, and with assistance from Park Intern Kathren May. Permits
are on file.
The first seven caches are small-sized containers and each relates
to a scene from the seven books in the Harry Potter series. Under
each lid, you will find part of the coordinates for the final bonus
cache. At the final site, a redirector will provide coordinates to
the bonus cache. The emphasis here is on the beautiful hike; the
hides themselves are relatively straightforward.
This is a 4-mile loop hike from the parking coordinates. NO BIKES
are allowed on this trail! Plan on at least 2 hours if you’re going
to do the entire series. Make sure to bring plenty of water.
Because this is a Texas State Park, either an annual pass or a day
pass is required to hike. The current daily fee is $4 per person
age 13 or older.

“Cedric,” said Harry, “the first task is dragons.”
“What?” said Cedric, looking up.
“Dragons,” said Harry, speaking quickly, in case Professor
Flitwick came out to see where Cedric had gotten to. “They’ve got
four, one for each of us, and we’ve got to get past them.”
