Grindøya island is a popular target for kayakers in Tromsø all
year around. Paddling takes around 30 minutes when starting from
the local kayak clubs at Sjølund. Please respect access limitations
for the Island (only southern and northern beaches are available
for people during bird mating season - 1st of may until the 20th of
june). Once you have arrived on the island, the cache is easily
available on the southern beach, and contains
- laminated FTF certificate and gift (when you have used the
gift, please consider putting it back into the cache for others to
enjoy)
- Log book and cache in zipped plastic bag
- Collectables in zippled plastic bag

Grindøya er et populært sted for kajakk-padlere i Tromsø hele
året. Det tar circa 30 minutter å padle hit hvis man starter fra
Sjølund der hvor kajakk-klubbene i Tromsø holder til. Vær vennlig
og respekter hekketids-begrensningene her (fra første mai til 20
juni er det kun strendene på på sør og nord-siden som er
tilgjengelig for publikum). Når du har ankommet Grindøya så er
cachen enkelt tilgjengelig og inneholder:
- Laminert FTF-sertifikat med gave (fint om gaven plasseres i
cachen igjen etter bruk slik at andre kan ha glede av den, men
dette er selvsagt ikke obligatorisk)
- Loggbok i ziplock-plastikkpose
- Byttegjenstander i ziplock-plastikkpose
