Geocache Description:

Should be easy, no need to fall in the stream!
Roadside cache.
This is mark3, mark1 was washed away in the floods, mark2 disappeared.

The saga of Hill-man's travels continues. After his failed attempt to obtain sustenance at the Round Table cafe, followed by the loss of the bottle, Hill-man came down to the flatlands to see the sea and look back to the hills. This mission accomplished he obtained a replacement bottle, and looked around for a spring or well to fill it. He remembered a spot he had passed near Colby, where there was a convenient stream. This is called The Iron Spout, presumably because at some time in the past the stream has emerged from the field via a pipe through or under the hedge. Here there is a seat provided on a small patch of grass at the roadside, good for a short snack or a rest, but not recommended for a picnic as this road carries a lot of fast traffic. After a short break Hill-man proceeds......
You can park tight to the kerb here, but take care as traffic can be fast & furious at busy times, not recommended for more than two cars at a time. Do not park on the South side of the road, or you WILL become a road statistic.
The cache is accessed from the footpath, the cache contains a logsheet only, bring a pen/cil
