A cache in the north part of the Hyannis Ponds Wildlife
Area.
This is a fine open area for walking. The abandoned roads
are nearly overgrown with pitch pine. The ground is mostly
sand but supports several wildflower species.
This cache is hidden just off a narrow straight path that runs
east-west; parallel to the mid Cape highway. You can hear the
constant traffic noise the whole way.
You will have to duck some trees that have fallen into the path,
and there are some elevation changes as you approach the
cache. |
