Den 6 juli 1890 invigdes Örgryte nya kyrka av biskop Edvard Rodhe. Kyrka är gjord i nygotisk stil. Tre större förändringar av kyrkans inre har skett. På funkisstilens 30-tal slätströks väggar och tak och man valde också att måla koret rosa. 1970-talets renovering gick mer i blått och i samband med ombyggnaden för den nordtyska barockorgeln på 1990-talet hittades färgspår från den ursprungliga målningen och stor möda lades då på att återställa kyrkans ursprungliga utseende.

Denna kyrka har ingen kyrkogård och inte någon kyrkomur.

Behållaren är så liten att det inte ryms någon penna, så ta med en egen. Ta också med en pincett för att enklare komma åt loggremsan. Tidigare hette denna geocache "KV #11 - Örgryte nya kyrka".
The 6 of July 1980 Örgryte nya kyrka was inaugurated by Bishop Edvard Rodhe. The church is done in neo-Gothic style. Three major changes has been made to the inner part of the church. During the functional style of the thirties the wall and the ceiling was made flat and one chose to paint the chancel pink. In the 1970 the renovation went in blue colours and in connection of the rebuilding of the North German baroque organ in the 1990 paint traces were found from the original paintings and with great effort it was restored to its original state.

This church has no cemetery and no church wall.

The container is so small that a pen does not fit, so bring your own. Also bring a tweezer to easier access the logstrip. This geocache was previously namned "KV #11 - Örgryte nya kyrka".
