Geocache Description:

A series of caches celebrating the views from the Palos Verdes Peninsula.

Caching takes all of us to beautiful locations we might not otherwise visit. We have placed this series to give cachers an excuse to stop and enjoy the views, which are particularly spectacular at sunset.

Although the cache is located west of the parking area near a walk down to the beach, we recommend you take the other path out to the lookout point to search for whales and other wildlife. From this lookout you also have a nice view of the San Vicente Lighthouse and its legendary ghost.

All parking pullouts are located on the ocean side of the road. Parking at the turnouts is prohibited between 10pm and 5am. The caches are all small magnetic Altoid containers painted to match their surroundings. Log only. BYOP.
