This Multi-Cache is a celebration of the beauty of the Tenby seafront and involves a mile walk along the front stopping at some lesser known Tenby gardens to admire seaward views. Each stop has seating nearby with a beach (and the sea) to view and leads (eventually) to a large beaker sized screw top container which will accommodate small swaps only.
Tenby’s town walls date back to the 13th century and this is a coast walk through the town walls from North to South. In Victorian times Tenby was renowned as a centre for health. If you were ill it would help cure you; if you were well it would keep you that way. It’s reputation grew and it was a popular resort and wealthy folk had houses built around the shores. Also walkways and gardens were constructed to cater for the growing influx of visitors, many of which remain today (paths and gardens - not the visitors!!!).
