Geocache Description:

This spot marks the gateway the Manawatu and the Horowhenua District and the start of the Southern End of the Heritage Trail.


The Horowhenua Tail begins here in Manaku and follows State Highway 1 to Ohau and from Foxton to Shannon on State Highway 57. You can find points of interest where you can discover the historic geographical, cultural and social aspects of the Horowhenua

When the cache sistema container was placed it contained the following items

Logbook
Toys

"WARING" top wire is electricfied please do not touch and keep an eye on children at all times.

Please NOTE that you must sign the logbook for each individual cachers or proof of a photo for group logs, otherwise your log may be deleted. Also NO PHOTOS of the final location and we definitely dont want to spoil it for other cachers. Please hide the cache exactly how you found it as we dont really want it to get muggled as this can be a HIGH MUGGLE area.
