Geocache Description:

A small multi at the site of one of the former stations along the Wirral Way

This cache is a short multi at what was formaly Parkgate 1st station, which opened in 1866 and was the end of the line for 20yrs until the the line was extended to West Kirby in 1886 at which point a new passenger station opened just over the road, although this single platform station remained as a goods station until it was demolished in 1964 and now serves as a car park for users of the Wirral Way.

To find the cache you need to find some info at a couple of points of interest on the site and complete the forumla below:

Stage 1 is a WW2 pill box built to defend the station during the war.

1st, Count the number of windows in the pill box for A.
2nd, Count the number of steps for BC.

(To avoid possible confusion you should end up with an even number)

Stage 2 is a memorial to the old Hooton to West Kirby line that is now the wirral way.

1st, Count the number of sleepers for D
2nd, There is a small black plaque here, count the points on the symbol in the top right for E

For the cache, which is a small camo'd twist top container
(My raffle prize from the After CITO meet)
just complete this formula:

53°17.(C-B) (D+B) (E+B)
003°04.(D+B) (C) (A-B-C)
