Geocache Description:

Not too hard to find, not many muggles about - steep climb to get there.

The cache is a fairly quick one to do. Its in Halton and tucked away from main routes. Feel free to take whatever you want as log as you replace it.

The cache is at the rear of the old St Mary's hospital site which was part of RAF Halton until recently - it is now being demolished in order to build houses.

Princess Mary’s RAF Hospital was opened in 1927 and with its younger partner, the Institute of Pathology and Tropical Medicine, provided an excellent specialist and general service, while training medical trades personnel and nurses. Its closure in 1995 was a major blow to the local community as well as to the RAF as a whole.

The cache is very much in the public domain and no where near any MOD property now.
