Geocache Description:

Whale-watch Rock is a fairly easy cache, great for people who are new to geocaching. You have to go off the main path just a little, and you'll be walking on rocks and a few shrubs, but it isn't hard to find at all.

We've started the cache off with a whole bunch of neat items, so please exchange our items with cool and interesting items of your own. The cache is an upcycled peanut butter jar. Look hard, have fun, and happy caching! The Millabites. ~~~~~~~~Cape Spear is a headland located on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland near St. John's in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. At a longitude of 52°37' W, it is the easternmost point in Canada and North America, excluding Greenland. This cache itself is located a very short distance down a section of the ECT, Cape spear to Maddox cove. A moderate, 5- to 7-hour, 15.4-km hike between Blackhead and Maddox Cove. From the easternmost point in North America the trail follows the coast southward. Attractions along the way include a World War II coastal defence battery, whales, seabirds, a bakeapple bog and the abandoned hamlet of Staffordside. This cache is now maintained by Noahthecachepro!
