In the shadow of the concrete monster.
For the past many decades, gravel was open mined from the Steilacoom gravel pit. This old pit was converted by Pierce County into a multi user area. There is a golf course, running trails, and open grass area. This park has a beautiful view along with very interesting concrete structures from the past.
