Geocache Description:

Another cache along the peaceful hike/bike trail that starts in Alma and ends at Methodist Cove. This spot is about the mid-point of the trail. You can start at the Alma end, at the Methodist Cove end, or park along a street to the north of the coordinates and it's a short walk in. The cache is located not far off the paved trail. You never know what kind of wildlife you might see in the area - deer, wild turkeys, or rabbits. There might also be ticks, spiders and snakes.

The cache container is a cammoed plastic jar with a screw-on lid. It contains a logsheet and small trade items.

The area on the opposite side of the paved trail is where my brother kept his horse, Lad, when he was in 4-H. Lad didn't like to come when called so we made many a hike back into the pasture to find him. There weren't as many trees back then but it still wasn't alot of fun.

I hope you find this hike/bike trail as beautiful and peaceful as I do.

Thank you for letting me share my memories!
