This relatively easy hide is located on a gem of a Raleigh city park. It is the location of an old mill - perhaps Whittaker Mill, as in the name of the nearby road. Nothing is posted near this park on the name or history of these mill ruins, although an inquiry to the Raleigh history museum was answered that it is most likely the remains of Whittaker Mill.
Please replace the cache holder just as you found it.
After the find, check out the rocks around the mill site - lots of fun scampering for kids! But please be careful, the rocks can get quite slippery.
Finally, if you visit after a rainstorm, please practice CITO, as storm water run-off often deposits small bits of trash in this historic area.
