Way back in 1965 the Magic Roundabout first appeared on UK television screens. It brought smiles to both children and adults alike as they followed the adventures of colourful characters such as Dougal, Ermintrude, Zebedee, Dylan, Florence and Brian.
This cache might well be Brian's house - to find "his" house you will need to know what Brian is - this shouldn't be too difficult. When you find it please do not touch - rather, gently (very gently) follow the silvery line to retrieve your reward. There is no need to go down to the river or to remove any stones - the cache is wheelchair friendly.
You might be expecting a magic roundabout - sorry to disappoint you but all the local roundabouts are far too busy for Brian's life in the slow lane. He prefers to stick to this bridge over the Ballymartin Water. However, if you are lucky you may see magic of a different kind - the bright blue flash of a passing Kingfisher or the speckled flank of a rising trout. Unfortunately, this river suffered pollution recently - Brian was not amused.
You can park (one or two cars) on the hard shoulder close to the bridge - but take care beside the road which can be busy at times.
Please remember to bring a pen/pencil to sign the log.
