Devil's Nose is the northern most summit of Sleepy Creek Mountain. It's a beautiful area with a really unique rock formation where the stream, Meadow Branch, goes through the canyon. It's a great hike, on a nice trail to a great location. It's a special environment, with lots of hemlock trees and rhododendron plants. This place is worth the hike.
This cache is right beside Meadow Branch Trout stream. It's absolutely beautiful here!!
Sleepy Creek WMA has a trail access in Sleepy Hollow Subdivision, not far from the Woods Resort. You will park at the coordinates listed as Parking, near a sign that says "Sleepy Creek WMA, Devil's Nose Access". You will be parking and hiking in Sleepy Creek WMA. Follow Audubon Road about 2 miles to Maverick Trail. The access is at the end of Maverick Trail at the coordinates below. Should anyone ask, tell them you are going to the Sleepy Creek Access.
Follow the jeep trail out of the parking lot. When you come to a large, open turnaround area, take the trail to straight or maybe slightly left. There are several caches along this circuit.

This cache is at the bottom of the hill within sight of the Meadow Branch Trout Stream and the new bridge the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club (PATC) placed. Head up stream less than 50 ft to the cache. The cache is located in the right corner of a massive rock formation. Please hide well, this area gets lots of visitor's.
