A nice moderate hike through the park estimated 2 mile round trip. Great area to enjoy an afternoon or picnic. There is parking at the upper picnic area loop that will have a sign available. The trail that the cache is located on the Greer Gulch Loop, that starts out out as the nature trail which the leads into the loop. Once you find the cache you can either continue around the loop or head back in the direction you came.
To The Bat Cache - is a ammo box with assortment of items. It is dedicated to the Lewis and Clark Cave Friends, Bats. Lewis and Clark Caverns shares its space with the a nursery colony of Western Big Earred Bats between the months of late April to early September, and begin to have their babies in July. In the winter months, the cave have a few Myotis bats that come to the cave to hibernate. This is also the starting point of Batty the Bat, the traveling bug's journey to other cave caches like this one.
