Geocache Description:

Love the mesquite trees.... hate the thorns!

This is one of a pair of "married" caches between me & my husband, TexasGrillChef. His is called "Mr. Trail of OUCHES!"

Being that we are married & close... so are our caches.

We are close together, use the same type of container & are hidden in very much the same way.

The Colony has this wonderful new trail system. Very nice views of the lake & our prairie lands as well.

Hope you enjoy the view & the search. The caches are in small "Otter" type boxes. You may have seen me use these boxes before in a couple of our other cache/hide sites. The hide isn't to far off the trail, but be prepared for the thorns of all the mesquite trees, cactus & other thorny type plants that will be around. There are snakes around although I have yet to see any. I wouldn't recomend wearing sandles/flip flops etc. to get this cache.

The Colony trail system is open from dawn til dusk, Dogs are allowed on leash, the trail is good for "Trail" rated strollers / wheelchairs & segways, All other motorized vehicles are NOT allowed. Bicycles are allowed as well. Cache/hide is child friendly & has a few things for children OVER 5.

I have also included a few interesting magnets for those who are into collecting magnets.
Please bring an interesting magnet to trade for those. Thanks.

Use the SAME parking that you would use for another cache/hide GC1VP78 "Overgrown Street Ending".

Congrats tj311 on being the FTF!
