Historical site of the old Yanchep Lime Kiln.
I set up a few caches and threw them in the car for when we come across great little places just like this one. Sadly, I named them all prior, hence the name of the cache doesnt really have any significance to the cache area itself.
The cache is placed inside Emerald Park, which is inside the Emerald Park Estate. The park, whilst small, has significant historical sites relating to the old Yanchep Lime Kiln. We actually stumbled across it on our weekly hunt, this time north to Yanchep. Truth be told, we actually were trying to get into the old Dizzy Lamb Park, but the signs stating vicious guard dogs on site soon changed our bearings.
