Geocache Description:

IN MEMORY OF NANNA
My nanna's favorite place.

Part of the pennington flash country park, this is a very high muggle area, please be careful when retrieving and replace exactly as found please.
While you are here why not extend your walk to take a look at the Flash itself, a large body of water created by mining subsidence. The Country Park is renowned for its birdlife so bring some binoculars with you. There are several bird hides, a childrens play area, picnic areas and a good network of footpaths. More information can be found through the Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust homepage.
