Located in Fairwater, this cemetery was deeded in 1855, with the first interment being of 5 year old Sarah Brundate, in 1848.
The container is not on nor near any markers. This is an active cemetery. Please be respectful.
Congrats to CodeJunkie on your first FTF!
Thanks to sloughfoot for the link to "Laper's Folly", as it is locally known. It is the largest overshot waterwheel (still in existence) in the world. My uncle owned property adjacent to it, and we would visit the wheel several times a year. A dance hall and city park were also next to it, in the 30's and 40's. It sits on private property now.
