Geocache Description:

Cache is at the base of Old Man Mtn. (touted as the 28th most spiritual place in US; rich with Native American history) just outside the gate to a UNC (University of Northern Colorado) facility. OK to park outside gate and enter facility to summit the mtn. on foot (see Old Man Mtn 2) - open to all public pedestrian traffic. It's just a bit up the hill (~30 ft. or so) off the road. Our 6 and 8 yo helped place it.

Old Ranger Rd. is just past Elkhorn stables off Elkhorn Ave.

Cache is a square Rubbermaid w/red lid containing logbook/pen, various kid toys, small rocks from the local rock shop, some quarters, and TBs.

I'm also told that there exists "The Cave of the Seven Bears" upon the Mountain that poses 7 obstacles and takes you full circle. I was advised not to try this w/o going w/someone who has previously done it, and I haven't found that person yet.

This property is rentable, however, the renters do NOT have the authority to remove anyone else from the property!!
