Geocache Description:

Cache is on a not well know trail along the Niagara River.

It is a replacement cache of the muggled Brown's Point cache. Please be aware of them and use stealth if necessary, thanks.

The best way to get to this cache is on bicycle. Enjoy the beautiful Niagara Parkway bike path, which runs from Fort Erie to Niagara-on-the-Lake. If you come by car you can park near the Brown's Point plaque. Use the easier unmarked path to the right of the marker (not the one behind it), to walk down.
"Brown's Point Inn was located here. Both the Canadian York Militia and the American army bivouacked near here on seperate occasions during the War of 1812. Adam Brown later added a store to his inn and built a warf on the river shore below where sailing ships loaded settler's produced potash and lime destined for Montreal and overseas."

"Here General Sir Isaac Brock called out on his way to Queenston Heights 13 October 1812, "Push On York Volunteers".

At stage one you will find the writen coords for stage two!
At stage two you are looking for a number (= A) on the international marker. These markers are a waypoint for the Canadian and US border"line" in the river.

Final: N stage two coordinates, minus ((A x 12) - 4)
Final: W stage two coordinates, add (A - 4).

This cache is approved by the Niagara Parks Commission. Please stay on the trail and leave only your footprints.

GPS will bounce around in this area. GZ might therefor be hard to determine.
