Lincoln Maine

Lincoln is a town in Penobscot County, Maine, United States. The population was 5,221 at the 2000 census. The town is named after Maine's sixth governor, Enoch Lincoln.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 74.8 square miles (193.9 km²), of which, 67.9 square miles (175.9 km²) of it is land and 6.9 square miles (17.9 km²) of it (9.26%) is water. Lincoln is one of the Largest Township East of the Mississippi River in the United States.
