Standing
Stones
of
Rossville
Here is one of the nicest rural cemeteries I've ever found. This
location was born in the land run and had a post office from 1895
to 1907. The Rossville Union church held the community together for
many years at this highpoint on the landscape.
I love these places, their monuments, memorials and mementos of
lives past. Here are displayed the barest of facts, last words of
long lives and emotion of those cut short. Please be respectful of
the residents and guests. You’re looking for a small
lock-n-lock with some native camo. It's not in the cemetery, but
near the Shingleton memorial to the north.
