Tribute to Dick Popp Traditional Cache

This cache is placed in honor of Dick Popp. As an employee of BLM, he was instrumental in obtaining the approval and funding for the construction of the BLM boat ramp located on the North Spit. This boat ramp represents one small public access still left on the North Spit that has not been taken over by industry. Dick passed away from cancer in his mid-fifties soon after this project was completed.
After locating the cache, please stop by the flag pole and check out the placque placed in Dick Popp's memory.
