Simple multi-part cache, that starts with a pun and ends with an ahh. The cache is located on a public footpath.
Frome has it seems had this thing for cheese, it goes back to February 1861 when a pack of local landowners, who discovering they'd some how built up a cheese mountain decided to shift it by having a “Cheese Fair”.
Realising that Feburary wasn't exactly the ideal time to be standing in a wet and windy field looking at lumps of solidified milk, they moved the “Cheese Fair” to the last Wednesday in September on the pretext that the weather might be better.
Oddly enough this looking at cheese seems to have caught on, because the Cheese Fair is still going strong – still held in September, although no longer on the last Wednesday of the Month.
The above coordinates take you to the first stage of this simple multi. Here you can wonder what Fox Talbot might think as you hunt for the micro which contains the coordinates of the main cache.
The main cache is hidden slightly off a near by footpath close to where milk is solidified.
It is suggested you park at: N 51 15.148 W 002 18.394
The cache when placed contained the usual assortment of goodies. Small swaps and TB's can be held in this one.
When first placed, the cache was full of the usual stuff – log book & pencil, yoyo, water pistol etc..
Usual un-registered geocoin for the FTF....
*** Congrats to The Evil Poles for the FTF ***
