Mohr Island Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

lostinthegarden: The remains of the cache are in tough shape, and it's too much trouble for us to maintain, so we'll put this one to rest. It had a good 11+ year run... thanks to all who visited!

Geocache Description:

Mohr Island is a popular destination for boaters. The bay is an excellent anchorage. When the water is low, there is a beach. There is parking and a boat launch at the end of Dunrobin Road (on the Ontario side).

Historians say that Samuel de Champlain and his men spent a winter here!

The cache is a lock-n-lock inside a camo bag containing a log book, pencil, and small trading items. There is room for geocoins and small travel bugs.

Wear bug repellant!

FTF is Paddling Grampa who received an unregistered geocoin!
