Geocache Description:

level ground not suited for wheelchairs or small children because of traffic.

Located 20 miles east of Ruidoso, San Patricio was home to painters Henrietta Wyeth and Peter Hurd. Peter is known for his water color and egg tempera. His paintings of the landscapes of southwestern New Mexico's Hondo Valley can be seen at the Roswell Museum and Art Center in Roswell. In seeing these paintings you can see what you are looking at as you drive through this valley.

The cache is a small camoed twist together container. It contains log, confetti popper, Sacajawea dollar and geo-cache braclet for FTF. BYOP

Not suited for small children. High muggle area most of the time. Be stealthy and watch for on coming traffic. No need to get too close to the road. There is a pull off area at the site to park your vehicle.

Congratulations Leapin' Lee FTF!
