The cache is approx. one mile east of Frankfort on the bike trail and is NOT on the bench it is 30 or 40 yards west of the bench. It is down a small slope from the bike path it is on private property with permission (do to flooding in the area from time to time the cache has been raise to aprox. eye level )

IN LOVING MEMORY OF PAYDEN SOMMERS
BOY SCOUT TROOP 33 KINGSTON, OHIO

My 11 year old son Payden died while hiking in tar hollow state park on June 21 2008 trying to get his hiking badge he had hiked about 8.5 miles when he became over heated and passed away. Payden loved the scouts and had a great time with the other scouts. He also enjoyed going to the Chillicothe paints baseball games he did not miss very many home games

Payden would have loved to do geocaching so I am putting this cache here in his memory. Payden spent a lot of time very close to here (just through the woods) at his grandparents house, he also went bike riding and walking on this part of the bike trail so that’s why this is the location of the bench and in my opinion it is one of the most beautiful parts of the bike trail because you can sit on the bench while watching and listening to the water flow down the creek.
