You are looking for a small plastic tube hidden at the base of some rocks. These switchbacks are pretty cool...all nice and ferny. I decided to mark one of the more lush portions with a cache. Since I don't want geocachers destroying the area looking for the cache I'll just give it to you. Here it is:
