Have a Travel Bug that needs to leave town? The Hitchhiker is conveniently placed along the 8 freeway for anyone who has a bug that needs to leave town.
I picked up 3 bugs recently that all wanted to leave town, I figured why not create a cache that's close enough for people to drop their bugs off and easy enough for people to pick them up on the way out of town.
The Cache is located about 100' off the road with a nice dirt pull out to keep you and your family safe. It isn't much of a hike and the classic Ammo Can should be easy to find.
Parking is the first pull out after the View Point and before Japatul Rd. so keep your eyes peeled.
Automotive themed Swag includes:

• A qt of Oil
• Hose Clamps (just in cases those long hot grades give your radiator hoses grief)
• Pliers
• AA Batteries for your GPS
And of course a log and pen.
