This cache gets it's name from the color of the sand on the walk in.
Situated above the Wakehurst Parkway, the cache has some great views of the surrounding valley but be quick and enjoy the views before the bulldozers roll in and turn this place into another suburb.
A great place to come for a bush walk,dog walk or mountain-bike ride, there are several paths leading to this cache. I prefer the walk in from Cromer Rd which should take you no more than a hour return trip. The cache is a large sistema container. Care should be taken with the young ones around the cache area as there are some steep drops and the occasional dirt bike riders flying past.
